Staying in a 9-5 might feel like the safest option, but is it really? Let's break down the real reasons why clinging to comfort could be costing you freedom, growth, and wealth.

Your results are up to you. Education alone doesn’t create success—your effort, application, and execution do. No guarantees, just opportunities for those willing to put in the work.

Visionaries,

Because we grit through uncertainty to create freedom, and because we don't want to rot in comfort zones that smell like burnt coffee and broken dreams

You, Visionaries, are bold, resilient, and relentless.

You do this because settling isn't an option. You don't just want stability...you want growth, impact, and a life that's yours to f-ing design.

The real pain? Waking up years from now, realizing you played it safe and traded your potential for a paycheck. You're here, building, despite the long nights, the doubt, and the setbacks. And that's why you're one of us, you bright-eyed creative thinker, you. That's why you belong here.

If you're one of us, keep reading. Let's talk about leaving your 9-5, the hidden costs of staying stuck, and how to take the leap into ownership- without losing your f-ing mind.

Today in 5 Minutes or Less:

Leaving your 9-5:

☑️ Your 9-5 feels safe, but it's not secure.

☑️ Business ownership gives you control, freedom, and unlimited growth.

☑️ The hardest step is the first one, but it's also the most rewarding.

What to do instead:

☑️ Start with mindset: Believe you're capable, even if it's uncomfortable.

☑️ Think bigger: Your job caps your income - ownership doesn't.

☑️ Take action: The first leap teaches you the most.

Your future is waiting. Let's get to work.

You Should Stay a 9-5 Employee… Here's Why.

Reason #1: You Love Predictable Paychecks

• Sure, you know exactly how much you're earning. But you also know exactly how much you're NOT earning.

• Business ownership offers unlimited income potential - your paycheck stops growing when you're an employee.

Reason #2: You Don't Want True Freedom

• Time off? Only when approved. Life events? Hope you saved up PTO.

• As a business owner, you set your own schedule. Ownership lets you design a life that works for you. (I can just imagine all the negative thoughts people have after reading this).

Reason #3: You're Okay With Someone Else Controlling Your Future

• Job security isn't as secure as it seems - companies downsize, automate, or restructure...and sometimes, your ass is on the chopping block.

• Owning a business means you control the decisions, the opportunities, and the outcomes. (If you can't take responsibility, that's ok, another great reason owning a business isn't for certain people).

When I left my 9-5 the first time, I was excited to announce why I was going. I had something to look forward to.

I told my boss and told them how thankful I was for the opportunity to work there, I told all the people I worked with that I saw on a regular basis, and I basically left within a week.

Didn't take long. I came asking for my job in less than a few months.

Ashamed, but I also knew I was capable of doing my own thing.

Now! The second time I left that same employer ( I was in a different department this time), I hated all the micromanaging and lack of trust in me/my role, I was looked down on by management, and despite everything I did to add to my skill set/value of the company, I was kept in the same position, paid the same (if I met some absurd standards) and was not allowed to grow within the company.

It wasn't until I was mistreated by other staff and terribly treated by a customer that I realized I was replaceable.

In fact, my boss threatened me with those exact words in front of another employee.

Moral of the story...

Sometimes, headwinds become tailwinds.

Reason #4: You're Happy Renting Your Time

• Employees trade hours for dollars. That's a finite game.

• Owners invest time into building assets that generate income for years down the line.

Reason #5: You Don't Mind Missing Out on that cheddaaaaa 🧀 💵

• 90% of millionaires didn't climb the corporate ladder - they built or bought businesses.

• Staying in a 9-5 means leaving your shot at financial freedom on the table.

If reading this feels like a bad case of "office chair syndrome", it's time to stand up - literally, get out of your chair for just a moment (a true indicator if you're ready) - and think bigger.

Business ownership isn't easy, but neither is squeezing your dreams into a stale cubicle that smells like burnt coffee, printer toner, and yesterday's reheated fishdicks...fish dicks, fish sticks...whatever... you know what I'm talking about. ( Just making sure you're still awake! )

Ready to own your f-ing future?

P.S. In January, I will open up the "Mindset to Momentum" course. Pre-book your spot here.
